A Night of Impact: 2023 Beauty for Good Event
This past year, the highly anticipated Beauty for Good Surf N Turf event once again brought together the Mosharrafa community for an unforgettable evening of philanthropy, Western flair, and fun. As Creative Director for Beauty for Good, and having worked with them on media-related projects, I was proud to help shape the visual storytelling of this special night and capture its spirit.
The Setting: A Western Affair
The 2023 Surf N Turf event embraced a charming Western theme, creating a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere that welcomed guests into the heart of Arizona’s cowboy country. The decor was filled with nods to Western heritage—wooden accents, cowboy hats, and touches of desert greenery adorned the venue. It was a night where the rugged beauty of the Old West met the refined elegance of the evening’s gourmet offerings: a mouthwatering surf and turf meal featuring perfectly grilled steaks and fresh seafood.
But beyond the lively theme and delicious food, the heart of the event lay in its purpose—supporting the Mosharrafa Family Scholarship Fund.
Creating the Vision: Capturing the Spirit of the West
In my role as Creative Director, I aimed to showcase the unique Western atmosphere while also capturing the moments that made the night special. From the laughter shared over dinner to the competitive spirit during the live auction, every detail told a story. My goal was to ensure that the evening’s energy and purpose were felt through the media content we produced, showing not only the fun of the night but the real impact being made.
The live auction was particularly exciting, with guests bidding on exclusive items and experiences. The thrill of the auction, paired with the Western charm of the event, added a sense of adventure and purpose. Through media, I aimed to highlight how every bid and donation was another step toward supporting deserving students through the Mosharrafa Family Scholarship Fund.
